a calm before the next storm
The sun came out for a day yesterday (oh my god! What is that light in the sky?!) and I could finally go for a proper run. It's not that I mind walking and running in the rain (in fact, I rather like that), but the 35 to 50 mile per hour winds that have accompanies these storms in the last few weeks have been crazy. I've found on those days that I can't get to working out, I am pretty grumpy and down.

I thought wind would have actually been a factor in the huge construction crane that came tumbling down in Hellevue yesterday evening, but that didn't add up, because yesterday was actually quite calm. Right now they are saying catastrophic failure on the rig itself. That has to be kinda scary, eh?
