I don't know where this last week has gone! I've been busy and then I went up to Maine for the weekend, but somehow I haven't gotten around to updating this at all.
Maine was lots of fun this time around. On Saturday, Heidi, Rainer and I went to the Winter Harbor Fisherman's Festival. We were too late for the Lobster Boat Races (no great loss), but the town was in fine form, and then we drove the loop on Schoodic Point. Also very nice.
Sunday we went to Branch Lake with Louise, Elsa and Conny before I headed back. It's been since high school since I was out there and the water was amazing, as always. I left from there to drive back down here (and traffic was pretty miserable from the southern Maine tolls all the way to here. My normal 3 1/2 hour drive took almost 5. Blah. |
