Christmas shopping complete. Ugh. I spent half the day running around to get things that I should have gotten weeks ago, and now I just have to figure out how to get everything to Germany, Massachusetts and Maine before the actual day. I do this to myself every year. I swear next year that I am going shopping in July.
Last night was Diane and Forrest’s Christmas party. It was fun, and great to see Diane and Megan. Their house is so cool. We ended up leaving somewhat early (sorry, guys!) because the week pretty much wore me out (with all the things that happened at work). Tonight, in a few hours, actually, is Wendy’s party. I think that she over-invited… there are over 150 people who RSVP’ed yes… I don’t think that she was planning on that. We are dragging Tobias and Jennifer (Tobias is a director at Courtlink, where Ben works) along too. Ben and Tobias went hiking today, and when Tobias came to the house to meet Ben, Sedgwick hissed at him. I only bring this up because Sedg doesn’t hiss – ever.
I got two more cookie batches done today, 4 more tomorrow, 1 more Monday and then the extravaganza is really to assemble. Yummy.
