Catching up to do... It’s been a surprisingly hectic few days for some reason. Tons of little projects going on and baking galore. Oh, and on Sunday, Brian and I went to shoot at Molbak’s (poinsettias, not people) and then I came home to find my chip corrupted to that was the end of that. I’ll go again sometime under the week when there aren’t as many people. That is always a bummer when it happens, so I finally broke down and bought a card reader so that I don’t have to run the cable from the Canon to the PC. Last night we made our own little Thanksgiving dinner. The dinner party on Thursday was great, but somehow we wanted to make our own Turkey as well, so we did. Came out well.
With one holiday over and the next one around the corner, there is lots to do. We head to New England on the 15th and before then, I have to make and give away all the cookies (4 batches done). I am actually looking forward to the trip, even though I think that Ben is dreading it somewhat. It’s been over 5 years since Ben was back in Boston and even though I was there for all of 24 hours last year, I am actually really looking forward to our old haunts. It Boston (the city) could be moved to Washington State, I would be in heaven. I predict a white Christmas in Maine too.
