I love Amazon; really I do, but this week, they have pissed me off.
The first one (and the one that is still ongoing) is when I ordered my new camera last week, I also ordered a 2 GB SD card. For some reason, it shipped separately from the camera. The camera arrived in one day instead of two (thank you very much). After two days, I checked the tracking of the other package, and while “data for pickup” had been transmitted, UPS hadn’t picked up the package. I sent my first “where’s my stuff” message and they told me to wait one more day because “sometimes it takes longer in transit”. I knew it hadn’t even gone out yet, but apparently they didn’t care. That was Thursday. I complained again on Friday and I literally got the same message … please wait until Monday. I didn’t complain on Monday, but did complain today, only to get the same message AGAIN.
This time I checked the tracking again after I bitched and lo and behold, it finally left their warehouse, but that still means waiting two more days from today.
I sent them a really nasty message tonight, after I was sure it had shipped. It’s not that it’ late that bugs me, it’s that the customer service was so... well, so impersonal. |
