Doesn’t this picture just say “peppermint”? It’s the candy-cane effect, but my first thought was “cool, minty, fresh”. :)
Been a slacker of a blogger this week. Andrei Codrescu of NPR commentary fame (and also the editor of Exquisite Corpse) had this great commentary on blogging, likening it to a spider-web where the web becomes more and more complex and more and more people get drawn in like flies.
Last night, in the middle of the night, On my return from the loo, I fell down the stairs. I think that I was half asleep, and that was the culprit, but I went slamming down the 11 steps and thought for sure I broke something. Ben came running, it sounded pretty painful, I guess, but I am fine. It scared the shit out of me, however, and I couldn’t really fall back asleep. It’s going to be a long day.
