Well, it’s been a bit of a bad week for blogging, it seems. Lots to write about but not all that motivated to do so. I’ve been working on some arts and crafts projects for the holidays, trying to get some things done before the start of the great baking extravaganza (planned to start on Saturday as is the case every Saturday-after-thanksgiving) of cookies for Christmas. As is the case every year, I try to make every Christmas present and I am about 90% done with that. Yay!
Thanksgiving this year will be spent with friends at the Castro’s. We somehow got ourselves inadvertently invited to this by T&J. And so, we are doing appetizers because everyone else was already allotted the Thanksgiving fare. To be a bit unusual about it, we are making some amuse bouche from Thomas Keller’s famous restaurant The French Laundry. I’ll let you know how it goes. :)
